Motorcycle Repair: 2000 Deuce Brake light, brake lever, everthing

My front brake lever is not activating my brake lights, although brake lights come on with the rear. I pulled apart the front brake lever and everthing looks ok. My front brakes still work, just no lights. Any ideas on what is causing this?

If you take the brake lever out and turn the ignition switch on, does the brake light come on? If not then check to make sure you have power going to the switch. If you have power then the switch is bad and needs replaced
