Motorcycle Repair: 82 Honda xr80, honda xr80 bike, coils

Question
Bike won't fire over.  Tried to push start, but it wouldn't fire up.  Pulled plug and pushed down kickstarter but no spark was visible.  Are the igniton coils shot?

hello rob,

I would check yur on and off switch and also change out the plug and test yur coil by putting a good plug into it and kicking the bike over if it fired then yopu can change out yur plug. ok.
