Motorcycle Repair: Oil in Yamaha Riva, buike, buyt

Hello,
How many quarts of oil does a 1986 Yamaha Riva take?  Any advice about my recent purchase of said scooter. Thanks in advance.

im not to sure buyt the best way to do this is to put yur buike on a level area then drain the oil and filter if you have one o.k . Then you need to add oil slowly and check it after 1 quart you check the dipstick without screwing it in if its low you add alittle more i know for sure it takes more than 1 quart so just add 1 quart and chk and add a little more at a time untill the stick reads full;I hope this helps you if you need more info let me know o.k sorry i took so long getting back.
