Motorcycle Repair: 94 suzuki intruder 1400, suzuki intruder 1400, syncronizer

Question
when I downshift the pedal does not come up, when I bring it up manually it works fine also I have a hard time slipping into neutral  and when I put in 1st. it grids 3 or 4 teeth before it engages

sound like a bent shifting fork or maybe a sticking for ,it could also be a bad syncronizer doing this take the side cover on the engine off where the clutch  goes in.to inspect you should see very easy if it the lever.please feel free to contact me if you need more help god bless good luck
