Motorcycle Repair: kz650 carb question, notches, excellent condition

I recently picked up a 79 kz650 in excellent condition. It did not run well at all. I think bad gas. pulled carbs and put a set on I had in storage that had been cleaned and mechanically set 2yrs ago main jet 112. I think there is a size difference betweent the sets however it does run. Running a 4-1 exhaust with k&n pods what should my main jet and clip set-up be notches counted from bottom to top.
