Motorcycle Repair: 77 sportster, fly by night, recipts

i may be buying a 77 xlch that is totaly rebuilt with recipts over $8000   is this a good bike the paint job is $3000   the guy wants $4500 it looks and runs great

The only thing I warn peple about is, when somebody says a bike is rebuilt, who did the work. wa it a fly by night that didnt really know what they were doing? I would check the people out that did the rebuild. If they are ok, then its probably a good deal
