can you tell me if cdi unit hitachi  t1d14-15a  me5 will replace nippondenso  131100-3541 12v  me5 it is on 1983 honda cb550sc  will one from same year cb650sc work  do you know what might               tnx  gary

Sorry Gary, I have no clue.  I don't usually trade parts like that.  I try and get the right parts to make sure I don't change the performance of the bike for a customer.  The easiest way to find out is plug it in and see if it works.  If the bike runs good you got lucky.
