Motorcycle Repair: honda elite squeek noise, honda elite, hondas

I have a 2006 honda elite with 400 miles...it has always made a hight pitch squees noise on take off and turns...have any ideas what it is

Sorry Jan, but my experience is with pre-82 Hondas.  It could be a dry suspension joint, a plastic cover or something else.  Can you make it happen by holding on the front brake while sitting on the bike and rocking it forwards and backwards?  That might help you locate it.
