Motorcycle Repair: 2006 HD 883C transmission, independent shops, houston tx

My transmission does not go into 4th gear easily. I also hear grinding noises. How much to rebuild or replace transmission. I am in Houston, TX.

It tough for me to give prices on here, since labor prices vary all over the country as well as different prises at dealerships compared to independent shops. The only thing I can tell you shop around. Most of the time a independent will be cheaper than a dealership.
