Motorcycle Repair: Honda carb slide needles, rear cylinders, jet sizes

VF750S, V4, Sabre, 1982
I inadvertently got my carb slides mixed up and don't know whether the thinner, richer, needles go in the front carbs or the rear ones.  Can you direct me?

I can tell you that the rear cylinders had smaller main jets 120 vs. 122 but I've checked my manuals and the Honda parts books and I can't find a reference to which needle jets go in the front and rear carbs.  They are different needles according to the parts book but it doesn't say which is which.  I event checked a set of VF1100 carbs and although they have different main jet sizes the needles jets are the same.

Sorry but I can't be of much help. If it were me, I'd put the fatter needles in the carbs with the smaller jets since Honda wanted the rear cylinders to be leaner , according to the main jet sizes.
