Motorcycle Repair: mileage on a Harley Davidson, sportster 1200, harley davidson

My husband and I are looking into buying our first Harley and are pretty clueless about everything.  One that we are interested in is a 2002 Sportster 1200 XLC with 15,000 miles... is that a lot of miles for a motorcycle.  They are asking $5500... would you consider that a good deal?

That is not a bad deal on the bike if it is good condition. 15,000 miles is not alot on a bike. One thing you might consider is getting it checked over, by a shop, just to make sure everything is ok with the bike before buying
