QuestionWe can not get the volume to work on our 1981 GL Goldwing. The display works and you can just faintly hear the radio. There is no crackling like a blown speaker. What could it be.We dont have headset helmets.Could it be the amplipher or a blown fuse?
AnswerJoel,
you may need a radio technician to
check out the radio. It could be the amplifier
circuit. The fuses are usually under the left
turn signal base. The amplifier circuit
may have a fuse or loose plug on the terminal,
it is the red wire there and probably
a green wire into the fuse block.
This supposes you have a Clarion radio.
Some use Panasonics as well.
With a radio it could also be an internal
fault.
