hi,i own a 2004 honda shadow aero 750 and i was wondering what the engine idle speed is soppose to be set at.

about 1100 rpm is a good starting point.
Idle speed can be set slightly higher or lower
depending on your personal preference.
Setting the idle too low can reduce the
engine oil pressure which is not good.
Also a high setting may cause added strain
on engine parts like when the clutch or gears
are engaged. Set the idle where the bike runs smoothest.
