Motorcycle Repair: 34mm mikuni carbs?, mikuni carbs, honda bike

Hey there?,I have a 1981 cm400c honda bike and wodering if 34mm Mikuni carbs will fit it? Thanx, Rudy

the Mikuni VM round slide type carbs can be fitted, but
34mm are a bit large for this bike.
Might be easier to tune in some 32 mm.
Bear in mind they used 32mm on
some 650 twins. The 34's would be okay
if you are having the heads ported for high flow
otherwise it may run rough.
