Motorcycle Repair: OIL LEVEL HIGH, crank case vent, vent line

Hi. Mike . I have a 1992  ultra and the oil level is high. I discovered that the crank case vent line was plugged .I unplugged the line and noticed that the oil level was high.{top of tank}.I drained the tank and  refilled the tank to the proper level.Started the bike  and soon the level was high again.I noticed the level in the  primary was dropping and could not find any primary leaks.I was wondering if the primary oil can leak to the crankcase and enter to the oil tank

Generally, if there is a leak the oil go to the primary, not to the oil tank. You might have had oil sitting in the bottom end of the motor and when you started it it fill ed the tank. run the bike and drain the oil and then fill it again and see if it happends again
