Motorcycle Repair: 1993 Softail stator replacement, clutch basket, harley dealer

I have a 93 softail and the wires to the stator are broken.  Is it a complex job to replace a stator. How much could I expect it to cost to have done by a mechanic.

Its not that complex. The primary, clutch basket and motor sprocket has to be removed to get to it.
I cant comment on how much it would cost, due to the fact that prices are different all over the county and it depends on if you go to a Harley Dealer or an independent shop.
