Motorcycle Repair: 92 gsxr firing problem, plug caps, secondary ignition

have a 92 gsxr that only runs on 1and3 doesnt fire on 2and4 the ignition is new the coils and had two diffrent ignition modules on it can the triggers go bad get magnatized or something just cant figure it out   thanks

Hi James,

Pick up coils (triggers), secondary ignition coil leads, spark plug caps, and spark plugs can become defective.

Firing order is: 1-2-4-3

Cylinders are numbered: 1-2-3-4 left to right, looking down onto the engine when seated on the motorcycle.
