Motorcycle Repair: suzuki 400 quadrunner, suzuki 400, starter relay
Questionmy atv's battery recently failed. I tried to jump it with a portable jumper that I keep in my car and since then the electrical system hasn't made a sound. I put a new battery and starter relay thinking it was bad but still silence. I've checked the fuses. The one on the starter relay was burned out but there is a new one with the new relay. not being very mechanical, is there anything simple I'm overlooking or should i call the truck?
Thanks for your input.
AnswerHi Murray,
I suspect the jump-start attempt may have damaged the engine control module (CDI) and/or other electronics.
Verify defective parts by testing them with known good parts, if possible. Otherwise, call the truck.
