Motorcycle Repair: cbr 600, bill silver, fuel tank

I have a 1994 Cbr 600f2 I would like to know what direction should my reserve switch?knob be in in normal operation it's not marked there's 3 positions' up,down and straight. thank you

Down ON
Sideways OFF
UP reserve

Keep it downwards ON while riding until you run low on fuel, then turn it UP to Reserve to get you to the nearest gas station.

Turn it OFF when you park it, so the carbs don't accidently overflow and flood the motor or drain the fuel tank when unattended.
