Motorcycle Repair: 1998 ninja 250 engine swap, ninja 250, 250ex

I have a 1998 ninja 250ex and a 1988 ninja 500ex, I like the body style of the 250 and was curious to know if the 500ex motor will fir in the 250ex chassis.

I doubt that the 500's engine will drop in. Maybe with a bit of fabrication.
