QuestionJust purchased two of those china made, Honda knockoff atv's as toys for the kids. son's runs great! daughters was great till today.
It bogged down and died. Adjusted carb to where it will at least start and idle, but as soon as I increase the rpm's, it bogs and dies. It appears to be running rich (exhaust) when compared to the other one.
What to do?

I don't have any experience with these imports. I do receive numerous questions about them. I'm searching for tech resources on-line. I've found few worth referring.
Check for air restrictions and pinched fuel or vacuum hoses. It's possible the choke was applied while riding.
If your daughter is riding out of the power band (lugging the engine) the plug may load up and foul.
Clean the spark plug and try starting again. If the problem is cleared with cleaning the spark plug, have your children swap ATV's and see if the problem follows your daughter. If the problem persists, check fuel system for contamination.
I doubt the electronic ignition is defective, but it's possible.
