Motorcycle Repair: V65 Stator Change, v65 magna, bike bandit

I'm changing the stator on a 1984 V65 Magna. How is the stator removed after the bolt is removed? It appears as though I need to screw in a larger bolt (size?) in order to push off the stator.

Hi Perri,

You'll need a special puller to remove the rotor.

Don't strike or drop the rotor. It's a permanent magnent. A dead blow may align the magnetic poles and render it useless.
