QuestionI was told that cobra mufflers don't require re-jetting of carbs because of the baffles in them. Any truth to that?
AnswerHi John,
It's my belief through experience and training that any changes to the air intake, air-fuel mixtures, cylinder head & cylinders, and exhaust requires some tuning to correct air-fuel mixtures.
Tuning may be mild or radical. Sometimes, the required tuning changes are so minute that tuning can be left undone.
Learn about reading the appearance of the spark plugs to know what is happening during the combustion process. The plugs are a good indication if tuning is necessary.
