Motorcycle Repair: 1990 gsxr 1100 ilde and valve adjustment, haynes manual, valve adjustment

I can not get my bike idle correctly it is all over the map somtimes it will idle good and then not at all and somtimes idle to high. I have cleaned out the carbs good and no help. I wanted to do a valve adjustment what is the procedurefor a proper adjustment.

Your issue sounds more like a timing problem.  Have u done anything that may affect that?  As for valve adjustment I can only suggest purchasing a Haynes manual as explaining that is far to advanced for this sight.  Hope that helped and let me know!  Good luck.
