Motorcycle Repair: bike wont start, suzuki tech, banditalley
QuestionI have 2003 katana 600. I went to start it a few days ago and it started fine left the bike for a few min came back didn't turn back on. I but a new battery on and all it does when i press the start button i here the starter but nothing happens i can pree the start button for min and no start. When it is in gear first gear and i press the starter button it moves forward a beat but i can hold it. Also when i try to push the bike in first gear holding the clutch and it feels as if the bike is dragging ( it is hard to push) What can it be in dier need?
AnswerHi Aderson,
I suspect the clutch needs adjusted or replaced.
I also, suspect the battery is defective, not fully charged, or battery leads are loosely connected.
Respectfully,
Mark Shively
