Motorcycle Repair: Motorcycle fuel ecomony, 1986 honda goldwing, goldwing interstate

I have 1986 Honda Goldwing Interstate, 1200.  I am not getting good fuel mileage and was wondering what I could do to increase it.  Also what should I expect to get for fuel mileage?

first always use high octane fuel cheaper fuesl have been none to cause these problems o.k.also put in new plugs clean air filter you should notice a difference. if you need more in fo im here ok.
