Motorcycle Repair: No spark, honda cm 400, 12inches

Hi Collin.I have a 1980 Honda cm 400 automatic that has no spark. Do you have ohms test readings or info on what I should check.   THANKS

Ok, we need to ohm your plug wires first.  They ohm as follows:  for every 12inches u should get 1000. ex:  1.2ft = 1200.  Now this can also appear as: .1200, but it's unlikely.  If u dont get a full 1000 per ft then u have bad wires.  If it's not the wires then u r looking at a bad coil/coils.  www.myspace.com/oldunioncustoms
