Motorcycle Repair: 1993 honda cbr 900 rr, honda cbr 900, timing gears

i just bought this bike and its tranny was just rebuilt. the engine has a slight ticking sound at high rpms and wondering if it is time to rebuild the motor. the bike has 75000 miles and then some.

when reving it if you here a ticking its probably valves need adjusting,as long as you dont here a knock you may also want to look at the timing gears and chain .good luck hopes this helps you. dont forget to rate me and give feed back . you should be fine .
