I currently own a 2003 yamaha vstar 1100.i was looking under my tank and i saw some fluid under my tank that wasnt oil or gas. but it appeared to be leaking from under the tank. my oil level has not dropped at all and it has no odor..but its definitely wet. the bike runs fine and has no mechanical problems.Answer -

That's a very good looking model. Yamaha has done well.
First thought is that the tank was removed and placed upon a bench, floor, table, etc.. where the tank contacted fluid.
Otherwise, with no fluid description it's difficult to tell the source.
