QuestionI'd like to replace handlebars on my 82 KZ1000 M2 (csr). New bars will require longer than stock cables and brake line. Any ideas where I can find/have made 6" over cables? Also would like to cut away the cross member that is under the passenger seat then replace the stock fender with fiberglass aftermarket. Add a solo seat, something more retro looking. Will this compromise my frame's structural integrity?
Any help appreciated!

AnswerHi Michael,
Contact Motion Pro for custom cables. If they cannot find cables from another application that will work with your project, they can custom make them to fit.

Removing the cross member will compromise the frame's structural integrity.
Either modify the new fender to accomodate frame, or consider fabricating bracing that would restore frame integrity with the cross member removed.
