Motorcycle Repair: rust in tank, honda interceptor 500, jp cycles

Hi Collin, I just picked up an 85 Honda Interceptor 500 that need some tlc. One problem I have found is about 2 tablespoons of rust flakes in the gas tank when I drained it. Any suggestions on cleaning/derusting the inside of the tank?

U have your work cut out, but it is easy.  By a carton of Daisy BB's from Wal-Mart, or wherever u like, pour entire contents into tank and shake violently.  Continue until rust stops appearing.  Immediatly after rust stops coat the inside of the tank with whatever u've bought from a parts store, or JP Cycles, for a rusted tank.
