Motorcycle Repair: bike wont start all the time, electrical diagnosis, yamaha 750

i will go out today and the bike starts fine i will go out tomarrow and it mite not start i take the plug out and no spark but it will spark when i turn the key off or the kill switch and some time bake fire it is a 1983 yamaha 750 midnight maxim with 13683 miles i took it in last year and thay took out the fuse box and put fuseable links in  email [email protected]

Hi Doug,

The cause may be from a variety of sources.

Electrical diagnosis should be performed to locate the cause and source.

Most shops charge an hour for diagnosis and then additional time for repairs. I suggest letting them find it and then you repair it.
