Motorcycle Repair: 85 sportster, clutch adjustment, clutch lever

clutch adjustment procedures for an 85 sporster.
was wondering how to go about it.

Locate the adjuster for the cable. Turnt he adjuster so you have slack in the cable. remove the clutch cover on the primary. You will see a screw in the center witha  nut. The nut just slides on the screw. remove the nut and turn the screw just until it touches and then outward about 1/8 turn. Put it back together. Adjust the cable si you have about 1/8 inch play in the clutch lever and your good to go
