Motorcycle Repair: clutch adjustment, clutch adjustment, clutch plates

i have a 1100shadow,that after setting the winter,now will not allow me to clutch it when i put it in gear it is as if i did not chutch it, is there some type of adjustment? hit me back at mccoyfamily5@msm/com

Hi Cub,

I suspect the clutch plates have formed rust or corrosion.

This is common and usually corrects itself. Running the engine may free-up plates. Work the clutch lever with engine idling.

Otherwise, remove clutch plates, measure them, and repair or replace accordingly.
