Motorcycle Repair: carburetor Synchronization, kawasaki vn1500, best bet

Chris: I have a 1993 kawasaki vn1500-A7 and I would like to know how to synchronize the carbs, and do I need two vacuum gauges to perform the synchronization? Thank you

Hi Lon.

You will need two guages for the synchronization process.  Your best bet is to get a mercury synchronizer.  It is the best way to judge the synchro accuracy.

 As far as the proceedure, every bike is a little diferent and you will needthe repair manual to do the job properly for the proceedures specific to your bike.
