Motorcycle Repair: Pipes, loud pipes, motorcycle world

I just have a general question. I m new to the motorcycle world. What is the best way to pair my bike with loud pipes? Are pipes universal? sorry for such a  beginner  question, but any and as much feedback on this question as possible is greatly appreciated. thanks

the best thing to do is check with guys that have simular bikes that what you have. Listen to their pipes and see what sound you like. Then you can ask what they are running. Pipes are not universal. You must get what fits your bike.
