Motorcycle Repair: Exhaust Temperature, exhaust temperature, ceramic coating

Mike,   Can you give me an idea (or even a guess) on the exaust temperature of a 107" S&S Sidewinder?  I am wanting to get my pipes ceramic coated but am worried.  Most ceramic coating is rated between 1600 and 2000 degrees and I am sure the pipes don't get that hot, but want to make sure.  Can you help?  thanks!

I am not sure of the temp, but I do know that it is below 1000 degrees. The aftermarket industry has been doing coated exhausts for quite a few years and it work well and the temps are around the same, so you should be fine.
