Motorcycle Repair: Motorcylce grips removal., suzuki bandit, spray adhesives
QuestionHello Mark, I have a 2005 Suzuki Bandit 1200S. I would like to remove the original handlebar grips, and replace them with some custom comfort ones. I would really rather not cut off the originals. Do you have any better ideas, especially for the throttle grip. I do not want to damage or accidentally sabotage my throttling the next time I ride. Thanks, Paul

AnswerHi Paul,
I recommend using contact spray cleaner or brake spray cleaner to ease removal.
Some techs use hair spray to keep the new grips in place. I prefer to use 3M spray adhesives.
