Motorcycle Repair: 1972 Honda CB 750, honda cb 750, clutch lever

Is it worth doing a frame off restoration on my Bike?  I bought it on the big island of Hawaii a week ago.  Would like to find a clutch lever and replace all safety items first as I am a new rider.

Would very much appreciate any info.

Hi Kenny.

That is a hard to say thing.  If the bike is going to be ridden every day, then I would not go that far with it.  However, if you are going to ride it once in a while (bike night, shows, weekends, etc.) then go for it.

A bike that old, if in new or showroom condition is not just collectible, but a showstopper as well wherever you ride it.

When it's done, you should use the kickstarter whenever you can show off.  Folks love to see a kickstart bike.
