i have a bent piston rod,this is the second time this has happened in 15000 miles has anyone suffered this same problem?on a1987 1200cc gold wing interstate

Hi Jerry.

I have never heard of any cases of bent rods or repeated bent rods in the GL series.  You may want to ask your local Honda dealership if there were any recalls issued for the '87 GL.
