Motorcycle Repair: broken cooling fin, butane torch, gorilla glue

purchased a big bore kit for my 2003 victory tc.during shipping a piece of cooling fin broke off one of the jugs.can this be welded or might there be a product like jb weld that would work in this situation...Thanks...Joss

Hi Joss,

I would need to see the parts to advise about welding. It's possible to weld if the parts can be held in place and if the TIG/MIG welding head can reach the work.  

I would like to see your motorcycle anyway. They're beautiful MC's.

Alumi-weld is a low temp aluminum repair that you can use with a butane torch. Once cooled, the alloy is stronger than the parent material.  "www.alumiweld.com"
