stalling honda saber

Hi  Mark
I have a 1985  Honda Saber 1100, the engine cuts out and dies
usually after idling in slow traffic, on hot days or after giving
someone a ride,  very very difficult to restart. Fuel and filter are
fine, bike starts a little difficult but otherwise runs well.

Hi Kal,

Can you provide any details on history of repairs and maintenance?
When was last tune-up?
Was the Sabre stored for any periods of time?
Have you tried adjusting engine idle?
Any gasoline stabilizers used?

Include any other details that come to mind. This will help me diagnose the problem.
