Motorcycle Repair: triple tree rake, fxdl, question the answer

I own a 2004 FXDL. Getting ready to put wide  front-end on it.  Will 3 degree rake in triple tree significantly impact handling?

Sorry I didnt get back to you sooner. I tried all day yesterday to send you a reply, but somthing must havev been wrong with all experts.
Now to your question. The answer is yes and know. Your bike will still handle fine. You will notice that when riding straight it will handle better, but in turns it will be a little harder. Both are due to the front end being out farther.
