Motorcycle Repair: 1998 kawasaki kx 125 bottom end, kawasaki kx 125, shift forks

Hello, i'm rebuilding my motor but i am having lots of trouble getting my transmission lined up properly, everytime i get it back together it wont shift through all the gears, is there some sort of mark or a way to tell if it is properly lined up?, thanks

Hi Joey,

Follow the Service Manual procedures. There's not much that I can do for you here.

Assemble the shift forks and transmission in neutral upon reassembly. There's no marks.

If you continue to have problems, consider having a pro tech check the transmission. There may be wear or damages that is not obvious.
