QuestionHI,I TOOK THE SIDE COVER OFF THE FRONT DRIVE SPROCKET,TO INCREASE FROM 16 TO 17 TEETH,DISCONNECTED THE CLUTCH CABLE,SLOWLY ROCKED/PRYED THE COVER OFF,CHANGED THE SPROCKET,ON REPLACING THE COVER,I DON'T HAVE ANY CLUTCH RESISTANCE,IS THE PUSH ROD SUPPOSED TO BE SPRUNG ON THE OTHER END?DID I LOSE SOMETHING? THE ROD COMES OUT COMPLETLY,IS THAT NORMAL?THANKS
AnswerHi Ted,
The push rod is not sprung on the other side and is susposed to come out. I doubt that you lost any parts.
Try adjusting the clutch and clutch cable.
