  I have an oil seal leaking behing the stator shaft,can the outer part of the shaft be removed ,by unscrewing, or pulling it,to replace seal. 1983 honda nighthawk 550cc

A:  Unfortunately, not.

Get a copy of the service manual and learn about replacing this seal.
