Motorcycle Repair: air/fuel adjustment, honda shadow ace, air fuel mixture

I have a 2003 honda shadow ace which pops on decel, I need to know how to adjust the air/fuel mixture.

Hi Bill,

Turn the screw out until highest engine rpm is obtained. Turn the screw in until lowest rpm is obtained. Turn screw mid-way between these two settings.

Otherwise, turn screws in or out until crisp throttle response is obtained.

You may or may not eliminate the poping and/or backfiring. This is common especially with modifying intake and exhaust.
