Motorcycle Repair: missing at 2800 rpm, harley davidson road king, harley davidson

my problem is with a 1995 harley davidson  road king ,it misses at around 2800 rpm , it doesnt matter what gear your in ,it wont miss at a lower rpm ,and it doesnt miss at higher rpms , i was hopeing  you might have run into this problem before, or just give me an idea of which direction to go ,electrical or fuel problem , thanks for your time

When I ask for modifications, what I was looking for was exhaust and ignition.
Since your miss is at a certain RPM I dont think it is related to fuel problem. It is probably either a ignition or exhaust problem. Certain exhaust do not work well with the S&S carb. Not enough back pressure. The ignition might not be firing well at that RPM and is getting ready to go out.
