Motorcycle Repair: 1200XLC, custom taxes, conversion kit

I have an '05 sportster custom (taxes paid).Would a "Screeming Eagle",or aftermarket,ignition module and coil increase my preformance cost effectively?Also,is there a conversion kit to a 1450cc?Thanx,Gonzo

Due the cost of the ignition moduals as compared to the performance increase, the cost outways the increase. So to answer your first question, no. As to the second question, yes. S&S sells a kit that will take it to 1458 CC's. Its called the 89 sidewinder kit.
