Motorcycle Repair: Remove Baffles, 2003 suzuki volusia, epa violations

Hi Mike

I have an 2003 Suzuki Volusia, 805cc. I would like to know, if I remove the baffles on the Pipes will I need to rejet the Carbs?

Hi Derick,

If you want the engine and carburetion to perform preoperly, yes.

Any modifications to the air intake, carburetion, or exhaust flow will require some tuning to correct the air-fuel mixtures.

Keep in mind EPA violations and noise ordinance violations. : )
